This annual ceremony hosted by The Consulate General of Canada marks the 70th anniversary of the Canadian Commemorative Ceremony in Hong Kong. We are honored to have the Premier of Ontario, The Honorable Kathleen Wynne, attend the ceremony this year. As with past
practice, our Scouting members raise and lower the Canadian flag, place poppies and lay a wreath to pay our tribute. Let us pause for a moment of silence. Think of those who sacrificed their lives so that we could live in peace and freedom.
