Canadian National Services by Canadian Scouts in Hong Kong
The 1st Hong Kong Canadian Scout Group is an off shore contingent of Scouts Canada in Hong Kong. Since the Group’s inauguration in 1992, we have had the honour to provide services to national dignitaries visiting from Canada, as well as the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong. Here are some of our proud moments!
The 24th Governor General of Canada
His Excellency the Right Honorable Ramon Hnatyshyn, Governor General of Canada, State Visited Hong Kong – our Scouts greeted and met the Governor General and provided an honor guard both during the Great Canadian Picnic and the Welcoming Dinner at the Grand Hyatt. Scouts present received State Visit coins from our Chief Scout! Sunday, May 1, 1994
