The 1st Hong Kong Canadian Scout Group is an off shore contingent of Scouts Canada in Hong Kong. Since the Group’s inauguration in 1992, we have had the honour to provide services to national dignitaries visiting from Canada, as well as the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong. Here are some of our proud moments!
Never missing a Remembrance Day service, The Right Honorable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada made a special detour to Hong Kong while visiting Asia, to officiate the 2012 Remembrance Day service. Our Cub Scout Marvin Wong welcomed and greeted Prime Minister and Mrs. Harper as they landed in Hong Kong. Our Scouter Curtis Ip acted as Prime Minister Harper’s RCMP.
